The Crust Rim Brake Wheels are an ideal option for your Canti Bolt or Romanceur. These rims were designed by Matt with 42-48mm tires in mind. They are double wall for durability, but slimmed down where they can be to keep them as light as possible. The dynamo hub in either case is a Shutter Precision SV-8 Dynamo with the connectors included. The 130mm rear wheel features a Sheriff Star style hub body with a Shimano drive, 12 speed compatible driver. If you select non-dynamo with 130mm it will come with a sheriff star style front hub to match the rear. The 135mm rear wheel comes with a simple and clean hub shell with a Shimano drive, 12 speed compatible driver. The non-dynamo front wheel included with a 135mm rear hub has a nice simple looking front hub to match the rear. The driver in each rear hub has 3 pawls with 3 teeth each that provide a nice, crisp engagement.
Spoke Tension:
These rims are very light weight and if you try to run the tension up super high with some sort of plan to have a wheel set that feels like you're rolling on a set of dull saw blades, they may not be for you. If that is the case, maybe look into some carbon tri spokes. If you have a Park Tool Tension Meter, the ideal reading will be somewhere between 15 and 20, anything past 20 I wouldn't recommend. If you go by feel then the wheels tend to come in a pretty good spot tension wise.
