Anton Krupicka's Signature Bike, the Derecho. The Derecho is an amalgamation of characteristics pulled from the bikes Anton rides on the regular to create one ideal frameset. It's basically a mash up of the Bombora, Evasion, and Evasion Lite, with a few extra tweaks. It features a Reynolds 853 tubeset with an oversized downtube to add a some strength and stiffness. That tubing choice makes it a total treat to climb out of the saddle. If there was one Crust model to climb up and bomb down some mountain double track, this is THE one.
If you need a seat post clamp we have some HERE!
Build Notes:
Designed to take a up to a 29x2.6" tire, but will work just as well with up to a 27.5x2.6" or heck, get experimental and try some 26" tires on there.
Takes a ROAD crank. Ideally 1x with a maximum ~40 tooth chainring. You can set it up 2x, but it's on you to figure that out.
The rocker dropout's adjustability means it is Rohloff and single speed compatible.
Flat mount brake front and rear. Recommended rear caliper bolt length is around 17mm.
Max Rotor Size: 203mm Front | 180mm Rear
Front and rear thru axles are included.
HEADSET NOT INCLUDED
If you have further questions about this DO NOT ASK PARAGON ANYTHING. Contact us.
These framesets are ED Coated to help protect them from the elements and inhibit internal corrosion. This doesn't mean you're free to ride it into the ocean though.
Takes a 30.0mm seat post clamp with a 27.2 seat post.
